DelDOT currently uses a software called “Decision-Lens” to ensure the development of a performance and formula-based program. DelDOT’s prioritization process is more fully described within its [1]Project Prioritization Criteria summary document.
The Long-Range Transportation Plan is approved by the COT in accordance with [1]29 Del. C § 8419 (3) of the Delaware Code before being provided to the FHWA and FTA for informational purposes. All updates made to the Long-Range Transportation Plan require public review and comment and approval by both the FHWA and FTA.
